There’re a lot of web-based mail service providers that you can use, but using a mailbox with your very own personal domain will grant you more credibility if you are running a business, for example, not to mention that with web-based services there are limitations on the maximum size of the attachments that you can receive or send. If you use an email service that supports the IMAP and POP3 email retrieval protocols, you won’t come across such problems and you’ll be able to use any program on your PC to check your mailboxes, including Apple Mail, Thunderbird or Outlook. You can even set up a mailbox on your mobile device. The difference between the two protocols is that with IMAP, an email message is displayed at your end, but remains on the mail server, while with POP3, the message is downloaded on your PC, unless you configure the program in such a way as to leave a copy on the server.

POP3 IMAP E-mail Accounts in Hosting

You will be able to use any email client and any mobile or desktop device to check your email messages if you pick one of our hosting. Our mail servers support both protocols (POP3 and IMAP), so you can pick the one that fits your requirements – you can download all email messages to your PC or you can keep the messages on the server if you’ve got a firm and different people need to get access to them, for instance. You can even download an auto-config file for a certain mailbox for any of the three most widely used desktop email clients – Outlook, Thunderbird and Apple Mail. You’ll simply have to run the file on your computer and that email account will be automatically set up. In case you would like to use your smartphone, we have added elaborate tutorials on how to create an email account on an Android- or an iOS-powered device.
